About me
Creative Passion

I was born in habana, cuba. i had a normal education, although from a young age i felt out of place at school. i never went to a formal art school. my mind was almost always elsewhere: i wanted to create, build, imagine. i lived more in ideas than in rules.
i came to know both city life and rural life closely. throughout the years, i learned how to do many things: clean a house, prune a tree, work the land, and work in construction. i know how to ride a bicycle and also how to drive an eighteen-wheel truck. i do not mention this to suggest any special abilities, but because each of these experiences has shaped the way i see the world.
painting is my way of organizing what i have lived and transforming it into images.
i am a visual artist and painter. My work is born from the need to observe, question, and transform reality through images. i paint as a from of thought: each piece is an emotional exploration where memory, silence and time coexist.
i work primarily with painting, combining technique and sensitivity to create scenes that surrounds it. i am interested in atmosphere, light and what is not said but can be felt. My influences range from classical art to surrealism and contemporary painting, though my goal is not to imitate styles, but to develop a personal visual language
i believe in art as an experience, not only as an object. each work seeks to create an honest connection with the viewer, inviting introspection and emotion. my work is the result of a constant process of exploration, dicipline, and reflection.
